I started riding at the age of 2 on a little Shetland Mum bought me. My next show pony was a beautiful 12hh Welsh mare Dalgangle Candice who really taught me to ride. I have ridden a number of show ponies for Mondiso Park stud and a Galloway by oak vale serenade. I then moved onto my first warmblood, river, who taught me all the moves for the higher levels of Dressage. He took me to Grand Nationals ( Australian champs) where we placed Runner up Child’s Hunter Hack and Runner up Rider 15-17. Once I started Dressage I knew it was what I wanted to do. My first goal was to compete at Interschool Nationals in the Senior Novice Dressage, this was achieved. At this competition I received fabulous news from Remi Stud, that my Dream Horse was ready to be viewed. Aussie and I bonded straight away and I fell in love. Mum didn’t quite understand how I felt riding him but I knew he was special and thankfully Mum listened. Since this day we have achieved things I never thought were possible. We have won at National Level! and the most amazing thing I find is I’ve had him since he was 3 and with the help of my fabulous Instructor we have trained him from a horse that could just do the basics to now do all the medium work for 2018.
